Executed the termination of all operations, contracts, and employees within 60 days while negotiating vendor settlements and maximizing asset sale recoveries under limited liquidity. Served as primary point of contact for mediation and bankruptcy proceedings, pension-related payment documentation, and completion of post-confirmation wind-down activities.
  • Protea Biosciences (Bioscience/BioPharma R&D Co. in Morgantown, WV; OTC:PBGI): Retained by the BOD of a public company to provide hands-on CRO support through a Chapter 11 filing, including evaluation of potential litigation recoveries in coordination with legal counsel. Led two separate expedited Section 363 asset sale auctions and the orderly wind-down of the company’s remaining operations. Litigation recovery efforts were incorporated into the plan of liquidation, resulting in subsequent distributions to unsecured creditors.
  • Cobra Pipeline, LTD (Natural Gas Distribution, Ohio): Retained as Investment Banker to lead a Section 363 asset sale, managing buyer outreach, data room and NDA processes, site visits, and coordination with management and the board.
