  • Fabricated steel frames, columns, beams, and girders according to blueprints or instructions from site managers.
  • Erected structural steel and iron frameworks for bridges, buildings and other structures.
  • Complied with OSHA and company safety guidelines for height safety, lock out tag out, confined space, and hazardous material handling.
  • Cut metal components to required lengths using metal shears, hacksaws, and bar cutters.

  • Performed mod assembly, erected and connected structural steel, and leveled and torqued connections after steel placement.
  • Safely preformed large/heavy rigging operations inside of a running nuclear powerplant.
  • Assisted in operations to remove large vessels from containment building using a Jack and Slide method.
  • Participated in assembly of the assist crane, hydraulic platform and other material used for the job.

  • Set up hoisting equipment to lift and place structural steel items and plant equipment.
  • Worked in multiple nuclear power plants on the Eastern Coast preforming safe rigging operations inside nuclear reactor containment building and turbine building.
  • Preformed multiple recirculation pump removals and installations. In doing so, implicated safe bull-rigging techniques and safe transport techniques for all associated material involved.
  • Successfully preformed in a timely manor ,and without incident, the replacement of a nuclear fuel bridge overtop of the nuclear reactor. Implementing safe work and rigging practices while successfully mitigating Foreign Material Exclusion.
