Attended Sowela Technical College located in Lake Charles for an associates degree in Applied Science Majoring in Industrial Instrumentation and controls. I started helping my grandfather in the electrical field as a teenager. I really enjoyed being able to work hands on, learn new skills, and working as a team with co-workers. I started with International paper in February of 2020 as an associate instrument technician gaining experience and training . I tested up to a journeyman 1 after finishing all TPC training assignments and passing a written, panel, and hands on assignment. I feel my strong points are hardworking (willingness to continue to learn) , troubleshooting instrumentation and control skills, highly adaptable, strong knowledge of safety standards, effective communicator, and very dependable including working long hours, call outs, holidays, and ETC.
