I started off as a Personal Caring Assistant after housekeeping both at Autumn House East. After a year of being a PCA I went through classes and trainings to be a Medical Technician. I am the main med tech on first shift in our memory care unit. I have been through insulin trainings, and just recently been recertified in CPR. I provide patient care with giving out medication, checking vitals, give insulin and monitor blood sugars. I contact their families and their primary care physician for certain things. I have collected samples to be taken to labs for testings.
