Alyse is an outgoing, determined, and driven logistics specialist with over eight years of experience, including a focus on export management at Bayer, and a recent exploration of warehouse management. In her role on the Radiology Export Management Team at Bayer, she managed the full export lifecycle for shipments leaving the U.S. This included coordinating with various partners, generating export documents from the SAP system, and filing exports electronically with the ACE System. She also played a key role in maintaining full compliance by developing, auditing, and training employees on export files and policies. Before that, she began her career at UPMC as a Warehouser and was quickly promoted to a Supply Chain Specialist, where she utilized PeopleSoft to order, track, and document materials. Her time there was marked by her ability to problem-solve and quickly acquire supplies during shortages by working with new vendors and other hospitals. From there, she moved on to managerial roles, running a heating, plumbing, and cooling facility. Here, she learned and developed physical space and layout strategy skills, on-the-ground tech management, strict safety and regulatory compliance rituals, direct personnel leadership, strategic problem-solving-under-pressure skills and how to take ownership of a P&L and budgets. She is a self-directed Warehouse Manager who excels when given the trust and space to run an operation, handling everything from high-volume inventory tracking to full fleet coordination for large technician teams. Working independently has made her exceptionally resourceful, allowing her to hit strict accuracy with KPIs and onboard new staff efficiently. She is looking to bring this proactive, autonomous approach to a new position.
