- As an intern for Summer Blast, I took on new and exciting responsibilities
- In preparation for the camp to begin, I helped organize activities for each group as well as come up with creative ways to review lessons that were taught
- I created different games for the children each day, while catering to the different age groups to make sure each activity would be enjoyed
- I digitally designed several aspects to these games as well
- I assisted in preparing counselors for working with the children
- I acted as a guide to them while camp was going on
- During the camp days, I was in charge of the activities I planned, and I made sure they went well and encouraged team work
- I took advantage of the technology I had, like a sound system, to make sure everyone would have a good time
- I continued to act as a role model to the campers while coordinating with the other interns, counselors, camp directors, and parents on a daily basis to keep everything running smoothly.

- With more experience, the next year I was put in charge of a larger and older group of campers
- In this position I continued to be a role model for these girls
- I encouraged them to get involved with the different activities going on throughout the day
- Due to being an older age, I also had to settle disputes and help them to get along
- I was responsible for their safety and well-being throughout the day and I would lead them through important discussions while continuing to keep them interested in every aspect of the day
- I helped create an inviting environment for these children so that they could have a great time whether we won games or not.

- My responsibilities as a camp counselor included looking after a group of third and fourth grade girls
- I acted as a role model and leader
- I lead the children through an exciting day and was attentive to of their needs
- I kept them entertained and engaged in several activities whether it be an exciting game or thought-provoking conversations
- I worked with not only these children, but I had to coordinate with other counselors, interns, camp directors, and occasionally parents to ensure the campers had an amazing and worthwhile time during their day.
