  • Milk is weighed and recorded in the milk tracking program, where we can see how much mom's breast milk (MBM) is in the freezer and the fridge. This program tracks the amount of MBM, Donor Milk (DM), Prolacta, and waste throughout each day. We do calculations from 12 pm to 3 pm for anywhere from 28 to 54 babies using an Excel mixing program and other mathematical formulas. After the double-check, we follow the mixing order as we begin to mix. Mixing usually takes 2 to 3 hours with 2-3 techs mixing while one tech does the double-check and Excel record while answering calls and handling the window. After mixing, we cleaned up and restocked to the lab, followed by the delivery to patient rooms.
  • Other tasks included:
  • Collaborated with healthcare professionals to coordinate the delivery of specialized diets for patients with specific medical conditions
  • Managed inventory of nutritional supplements and ensured adequate supply for patient needs
  • We Rely on electronic health record systems to document patient information, track progress, and generate reports as regulatory agencies require. This ensures that we maintain the highest standards of patient care and compliance.
