• Provide technical and strategic leadership for health programs in Latin america, focusing on access to health in conflict settings, protection of medical services and SGBV response.
• Strengthen Regional Coordination with National Societies, RCRC movement partners, donors and humanitarian organizations.
• Training and capacity building: Lead training initiatives in Community-Based Surveillance ( CBS) and Public Health in Emergencies, in partnership with the IFRC , to strengthen local preparedness and early detection of outbreaks.

DEPUTY MEDICAL COORDINATOR FOR OPERATIONS & MEDICAL COORDINATOR- MYANMAR ( 2019-2021)

• Led medical strategy, planning and implementation for projects covering HIV, TB, MDRTB, HEPC, SRH and SGBV, NCDS and emergency response across six Rakhine IDP camps.
• Negotiated the handover of 3000 HIV patients to the Ministry of Health, supporting decentralization of services and capacity building of MOH staff
• Oversaw health interventions and lead medical teams in our programs ensuring continuity of care amid Covid-19 and military coup challenges
• Introduced MSFAT medical quality tool and an incident reporting system to improve patient safety and medical ethics.

HEALTH ADVISOR , OPERATIONAL DESK- BARCELONA HQ ( 2007-2010)

• Provided Technical and strategic guidance to Five Medical coordinators managing health interventions in Uganda, Kenya, Morocco, Palestine and Somalia.
• Designed and supported implementation of malnutrition, HIV, SRH, SGBV and emergency health programs.
• Facilitated Medical Department policy alignment and ensured project quality trough continuous supervision, monitoring, evaluation and research support.
• Donor reporting when needed.

MEDICAL COORDINATOR & EMERGENCY RESPONSE LEADER ( 2004-2011)

• Led emergency health responses to crises in Chad, Angola, Zimbabwe, Syria and Mexico, including cholera, measles and migration related crisis.
• Established partnerships with local governments and humanitarian organizations to ensure rapid and effective health interventions
