  • Provide technical and strategic leadership for health programs in Latin america, focusing on access to health in conflict settings, protection of medical services and SGBV response.
  • Strengthen Regional Coordination with National Societies, RCRC movement partners, donors and humanitarian organizations.
  • Training and capacity building: Lead training initiatives in Community-Based Surveillance ( CBS) and Public Health in Emergencies, in partnership with the IFRC , to strengthen local preparedness and early detection of outbreaks.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response, including implementing the first community-based surveillance for epidemic outbreaks in the region.
  • Lead the technical follow-up of programs in El Salvador, Honduras and Colombia ensuring alignment with Norwegian Red Cross International operational framework.
