Primary Responsibilities: As an Enrollment Broker, I conducted intake interviews across the Greater Philadelphia area for individuals seeking Medicaid Waiver services covered by the Maximus contract; complete CMI and associated tasks within program guidelines; cross-trained to process queue documents, PA IEB mailbox correspondence, inquiry return calls and scheduling; as needed, assist in addressing daily reports needing review to move application forward in the process and training new Enrollment Brokers. As a Senior Outreach Coordinator, I continue to assist with all Enrollment Broker responsibilities. In addition, I work as a liaison to the Area Agencies on Aging, County Assistance Offices and other area agencies as needed. In this role I work as a point of contact to these agencies to develop working relationships and help cases that need additional support move through the enrollment process. An Outreach Coordinator will work on additional projects as assigned by management. As part of the LIFE (Living Independently for the Elderly) team, this includes working e-mails from the Office of Long Term Living, LIFE programs across the state and update applications as needed, I also work as LIFE PA IEB representative in the call center, submit State documents to appropriate stakeholders to facilitate the enrollment process, present to various stakeholders via in-person and Zoom meetings regarding the Waiver process and do case management as needed for applicants that need extra help with the process.
