• Confer with physicians to discuss diagnoses and devise well-coordinated treatment approaches.
• Offer exceptional care and support to individuals recovering from acute incidents and dealing with chronic conditions.
• Assist with wound care, dressing changes and NG tube placement to maintain stable patient conditions.
• Oversee delivery of care for patients on medical-surgical unit, providing direct care, delegating nursing assignments and supervising team comprised of nurses, LPNs, technicians, and unit clerks

Responsible for setting up procedure rooms and turning over procedure rooms in between patients.

Prep patients for outpatient procedures while using aseptic techniques.

Assist surgeons during cystoscopy procedure, vasectomy, stent removal, and biopsy, etc.

Responsible for cleaning and disinfecting the surgical tools based on CDC guidelines.

Educate and provide patients with follow up instructions.

• Assess medical, psychological and substance abuse issues with patients
• Administer prescribed medications and advocate for medication changes
• Precept newly hired nurses
• Attend interdisciplinary conference to discuss patient care; Nurse Liaison
• Responsible for assigning weekly nurse staff assignments
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions and medicate accordingly.
