Benjamin Dorsey

Through my experiences as a student teacher and summer enrichment counselor, the thing that I learned the most was the passion that I had for teaching. I am able to use my skills of rapport building, communication, and self evaluation to develop and carry out effective and authentic experiences in a classroom. I always have a goal to make a positive space for students where they are accepted for the type of learner that they are, and to create the best situation that leads to them reaching their potential academically, socially, and behaviorally. I understand the effort it takes to help each individual student and I make it my goal to reach every student's needs.
