Brittany Guthrie

Hello! I am Brittany. I am a 32- year-old wife and mother. I attended Belle Vernon Area School District from kindergarten through 10th grade. I then finished my high school career & obtained my high school diploma through Agora Cyber Charter School. While in high school, I worked as a baby sitter & delivered local newspapers until I was old enough to obtain a job. At the age of 16 I started working at Valdiserri's Bakery, where I worked until I was 18. My high school sweetheart & I were married at the age of 19 & started our lives in Elizabeth, PA where I worked at the Family Christian Bookstore as seasonal- but quickly moved to a permanent position & assistant manager. I worked there until our company closed its doors. My husband & I started a family & moved back to the city of Belle Vernon to be closer to family. I became a stay at home mom & helped a family friend with their cleaning business as well as their archery business in the mean time. After 9 years of being at home I jumped back into a full time working position & began working June 6th, 2022 at Barksburgh Pet Resort, until I completed my RBT certification program for my BHT. I then worked as a BHT with Achieving True Self. A therapeutic day program whom one of my clients attended offered my a full time position as a behavioral specialist & program supervisor. I have since been working with the program up until now when our doors suddenly have had to close.
