Since beginning my career in 2004, I have worked in multiple business environments (commercial industry and Federal government including the DoD and Intelligence Community) and industries (military materiel, building materials, food distribution, utilities, corporate retail, 3rd Party Logistics).

I have had the opportunity to lead and engage employees and executives across many levels - from managing drivers and warehouse employees in daily operations to interviewing mid-level supervisors on their processes, to briefing Generals, Admirals, and company executives on their organization’s performance and our proposed solutions.

  • DoO for Loyalty Delivers Logistics, a full-service 3PL provider offering warehousing, import/export distribution, transload/cross-dock, material handling services, transportation and brokerage.
  • Responsible for all daily operations, staffing, P&L management, technology, and all special projects pertaining to sales and growth for the company.
  • Lead development of Value Proposition, Mission Statement, and Vision.
  • Lead company from start-up to sustainable profitability in 2 years.


Ops Achievements:

  • Lead company through UL-Certification process for cGMP/cGDP (Continuous Good Manufacturing/Distribution Processes). Scored a 97/100 on first attempt.
  • Selected and lead implementation of new WMS solution (Extensiv WMS). Solution was selected, implemented, and in use within 3 months.
  • Created operations positions, job titles, and responsibilities for all personnel.
  • Mapped, designed, and implemented complete warehouse layout to maximize efficiency and improve quality and safety. Created Facility Map to scale in Excel, enabling modeling of space and pricing requirements for new projects.

  • Conducted market analysis and pricing review. Identified company’s pricing for services was 10-20% below market value. Successfully managed messaging with current customer base when raising prices, leading to increased revenue under current operations.

  • Responsible for all aspects of project management including project financial planning, execution and management, employee performance reviews, and client relationship management. Participate in Proposal and RFP processes and client opportunity identification in support of Business Development teams.
  • Promoted to Project Manager in 2018. Maintained fully billable FTE role as the DLA BidWiser project’s Sr. Business Analyst and continued all project responsibilities while assuming PM position.
  • Defense Logistics Agency (DoD), Senior Business Analyst for the Defense Logistics Agency’s (DLA, a DoD agency) Troop Support Philadelphia. Serving the Construction & Equipment (C&E) supply chain with metrics/KPI development and reporting in support of Prime Vendor performance management and Service Level Agreements, Contract Management Plans, and customer and item historical and forecasting analysis for what has become a $5 Billion global supply chain since its inception in 2010. The system and business model have enabled DLA C&E to enter and capture a new market, seeing the program become the largest source for growth in the agency. BidWiser is the first and often only choice materiel acquisition system for DLA and FEMA in support of natural disaster relief and global crisis response.

  • Senior Business Analyst for the Defense Logistics Agency’s (DLA, a DoD agency) Troop Support Center serving the Construction and Equipment/Industrial Hardware supply chain with multiple aspects of performance analysis, data mining, reporting, and overall business intelligence support.
  • Created Savings methodology to calculate savings incurred by the C&E supply chain by comparing current prices to previously paid using Commonality and Price History approaches. The methodology was used to create the C&E Savings Dashboard, which packages the data within a user-friendly, multi-dimensional interface based on client requirements and user preferences.
  • Designed and executed assortment of recurring reports to track Prime Vendor performance, including Vendor Fill Rate Reports, Vendor Responsiveness Reports, and reports in support of Contract Management Plans.
  • Interacted with executives, contracting officers, acquisition specialists, and customer operations personnel to engage in requirements gathering with respect to vendor performance measurement, C&E Savings Dashboard, the BidWiser Application, and the Total MIPR Visibility (TMV) Application (financial workflow processing).

  • Business Process Analyst for the Defense Logistics Agency’s (DLA, a DoD agency) DLA Troop Support Center in their Analytics and Customer Service Department.
  • The agency performs a broad scope of supply chain/logistics functions for the five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and is the primary supplier of all non-weapon items across four major supply chains – Construction and Equipment, Clothing and Textiles, Medical, and Subsistence.
  • Designed an Excel-based dashboard to track performance of supplier/vendor-facing operations. The tool, produced weekly, captures data pulled from SAP/Business Intelligence through both standardized and customized reporting, and is enhanced by trending reports, summary pivot tables, macros and additional value-added metrics. The Supplier Ops Dashboard became the centerpiece of the DLA Troop Support Commander’s monthly performance briefings with management.
  • Personally conducted the requirements gathering interviews with key client stakeholders
  • Built the dashboard to specifications in MS Excel with automated data import process enabled by VBA macros

The initiative entails building and leading an internal organization to facilitate the collection, documentation, and analysis of all CSA Service Lines to assess their offerings’ maturity, strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities within the marketplace.

  • Optimized the utilization of 22 trucks, 72 trailers, and 30 drivers subject to store schedules and DOT/FMCSA regulations. Assisted Operations Manager with P&L management.
  • Collaborated with customer management to develop KPI reporting and CRM structure for Home Depot; developed and maintained KPIs for reporting for more than two years in support of client’s business plans.
  • Supervised various warehouse activities including the receiving, picking, and trailer loading processes at the Home Depot’s regional distribution center.
  • Personally redesigned weekly delivery schedule for 85 stores in three states to meet required deliveries per store while maximizing driver, tractor, and trailer efficiency. The new schedule increased on-time delivery rates and reduced driver stop-time, leading to savings for both Cardinal and our client, the Home Depot.
