Gold Award

My Gold Award project involved over 80 hours of community service, focused on raising awareness about the health of our local water systems and their impact on our community and wildlife. I design three engaging lessons and activities that taught campers about our local water systems, their influence on wildlife, and how these ecosystems affect our community. I then partnered with Paradise Farms Summer Camp were these lessons were then integrated into the camp's summer program, helping to educate campers on the importance of protecting our waterways and wildlife, and empowering them to make a positive difference in preserving the beauty of our environment.
