Exposed to all aspects of plant both coax and fiber repair/ maintenance / troubleshooting , power supply maintenance and repair , overnight maintenance window work such as node splits/night cuts. Pon cabinet assembly/ activation, ingress tracking and repair from node to premise. Outage repairs in a timely manner, Use of Trilithic and Viavi hand held equipment and common hand tools, Fiber Splicing on various splicers : fujikura 45s ,70s, 90s , ribbon splicing(90r) and testing with OTDR. Splicing done in head end and mobile splice truck atmospheres . Work with Headend Techs team members and supervision for troubleshooting and set up of nodes, amplifiers and fiber issues. Worked through the changes of analog to digital tv, WiFi troubleshooting, power over Ethernet for cameras, ,home networking.Moca systems for TiVo, Diagnose and install both aerial and underground services. maintained a properly stocked truck and professional appearance in a forward facing position for customer relationships .

Held A.S.E. certifications in engine repair and brake systems, held state inspection license during complete length of employment. Use of Snap-on brand and manufacture specific diagnostic scanners, understanding of repair procedures and wiring diagrams through Alldata and Mitchell. Use of Torches,hydraulic press, basic welding, drill press, and common hand tools. Shop duties included everything from scheduling services, performing service work, writing repair orders, cashing out customers, stock room inventory duties and keeping work spaces clean and organized. Work duties were shared amongst other techs both in a single and team environment while keeping shop owner up to date on situations as they arose
