- At Asst i did many things. i learned sanding/finishing. Used tablets and blueprints to build solid surfaces to needed measurments. I learned the routing position as well as clue up and the main saw and cnc machines. In the first year i was able to do everything on the floor including getting my forklift license. Near the end I was running main saw cutting down sheets of material. if needed use CnC machine to cut out sink holes or designs. I would assist in glue up and routing as well as finishing if needed. I properly stored jobs when finished and used forklift to store when done and to bring out new pallets.
