Chelsea Burke

Plans and facilitates over 30+ live face-to-face and virtual events for families to connect with the larger school community across the state during the school year (i.e., socialization activities, back to school events, field trips, college visits, etc.)

Advertises on multiple platforms

Creates, manages, and updates calendar of events to be shared with students, families, and staff

Manages systems for tracking attendance and participation at events Manages budgets for community engagement events

Coordinates event planning with school leadership and other departments

Establishes and maintains relationships with venues, non-profit organizations, and businesses to provide socialization opportunities Liaisons with club leaders and shares information with students and families during events

Surveys staff and student interests and skills to create new socialization opportunities

Works with the Director of Communications and Digital Content Specialist to create content for school communications (including newsletters, social media posts, promotional materials, etc.)

Works with all members of the school community to foster community involvement in events and school programming

Supports family engagement efforts during standardized testing periods

Develops opportunities for continued engagement during summer breaks

Supports the Employee Engagement Committee in the planning of their events
