- I am Chelsea, 32 year old mother of four. I enjoy painting, reading, hiking, and playing Fortnite with my kiddos. I always knew I wanted to work with children. I started babysitting at a young age. Once I married and had children is when I started working in daycares. I really enjoy learning and educating myself as a teacher and a mom. I enjoy daycare because I can be close to my children while providing someone else's child the nurturing care they deserve. My oldest daughter has high functioning autism, which helps me be a more understand teacher as well. I have been told im a big kid myself which I think helps me connect and bond with children better. I have worked in this field for a couple of years and have always enjoyed it. Childcare has always been rewarding to me. I want to be that teacher that a child looks back on and I made that child feel seen and heard which will give with a positive experience on their educational journey.
