06/25/25, My name is Cheryl Harris, and I’m excited to apply for a position in your program. I’ve been working in child care for the past 6 years, and I truly love what I do. Every day I get the chance to help children learn, grow, and feel safe. Over time, that love for caregiving has grown into a bigger goal—to become a nurse. I’m now taking steps to move into the medical field so I can continue helping people in a new way. In child care, I’ve learned patience, communication, and how to stay calm in stressful situations. I’ve also worked with different age groups, from toddlers to preteens, and I understand how important it is to meet every child where they are. I’ve used professional tools like Day Care Works to stay organized, and I always make sure to count the children every 15 minutes to keep them safe and accounted for. I’m currently looking into CNA and nursing programs because I’m ready to grow. I want to bring my caring personality and strong work ethic into the health care world, while continuing to be someone families can trust. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I would love the opportunity to speak with you more about how I can be a great fit for your team or program. I’m always ready to learn and give my best.
