  • Leadership and Education: Co-founded Gillingham Charter School and became the Director of Development. Through a shared leadership model, the Director of Education and I led the school; In addition to being the Director of Development, I worked as the Vice Principal. Our K-12, 300+ student environment provided many opportunities for professional development, especially in the area of Special Education.
  • Spoke at the local School district Board Meetings, Court Hearings, and at the Charter Appeals Board (CAB) for the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), in Harrisburg, to get approval for the Charter School Proposal.
  • Brokered numerous community partnerships that secured opportunities for schools locally, nationally, and internationally.
  • Grant Writing Project Manager that resulted in over $1,000,000 in Federal Grant awards.
