We bored under the ocean to run electrical lines for Offshore windmills.

Job ran 24 hours a day and I was on dayshift.

Got to be apart of michels Trenchless, michels construction, as well as michels pipeline. Each division had a crew there to work but we all helped each other complete daily tasks.

Hydrotesting laborer

Assisted with preparing the pipeline for testing isolated sections of pipe.

We would weld on a launcher and receiver to either end of the pipe.

Shot foam, wire, polly, and then a smart pig from the launcher all the way to the receiver on those sections of pipe.

Set up lake tanks that we filled with water to then fill up the pipe.

Pumped that water from the lake tanks into the pipe and then ran a pressure test.

Dig ups

Supervised and mentored new laborers on the job.

Directed excavation tasks on active hot line areas.

Help set up welders for cutting out anomalies.

Helped prep pipe as well as lower in pipe.

Prepped pipe and coated pipe as well as some clock springs for sections that were in casing under the turnpike.

Start to finish environmental on all sites for dig ups.

Restoration and slip repair crew.

Organized necessary resources every day to support crew activities.

Ensured team awareness of daily safety protocols and plans.

Streamlined daily operations for upcoming objectives.

Led a highly praised crew by the local community.

Started as a straw boss for m-scope and pothole as a company hand.

When we were rained out or done with our tasks I volunteered to work other crews.

Those other crews consisted of environmental,

Engineering, pipe gang, ditch crew, and tie inns,

Ending that last few months as a straw boss for environmental.

Detected utilities using M-scope regardless of prior markings.

Utilized locator for precise marking of utility crossovers within ROW.

Uncovered and mapped hundreds of underground service lines.
