  • Plant metallurgist for all types of large industrial metal forgings, for both defense and aerospace applications across many metallic families. Metals included alloy steel, stainless steel (austenitic, martensitic and duplex), aluminum, titanium, copper alloys, nickel alloys, and various super alloys.
  • Technical lead on the evaluation and interpretation of all specifications.
  • Managed heat treatment operations and compliance with requirements.
  • Led quality activities in contract review, process and procedure development, procedure implementation on the floor, mechanical testing, nondestructive testing, and certification of forgings.
