I have over 9 years of experience working directly with youth who face behavioral and emotional challenges, including those with special education needs and IEPs. I've worked in residential settings, schools, and community programs, supporting kids who often struggled to succeed in traditional environments. A big part of my work has been helping students regulate their behavior, stay on track with goals, and return to class or daily routines with a short-term focus they can manage. I'm confident in handling crisis situations, communicating with families and teams, and creating a structured, supportive space where students feel safe and understood. My experience has prepared me to support students with patience, consistency, and the belief that progress looks different for everyone.
