- June 16th, 2003, I graduated the Philadelphia Police Academy.
- After graduation, I was assigned as a patrol officer in the 22nd District (1747 N. 17th St.).
- In 2008 I submitted a transfer to the 9th Police District (21st and Pennsylvania Ave.) and was granted this request. I spent 6 months in this assignment as I was also on an active detective promotional list.
- In November of 2008, I was promoted to the rank of detective and assigned to South Detectives Division (2301 S. 24th St.). During this time, I investigated numerous crimes to include : Assault, Robbery, Theft, Fraud, Shootings, Narcotics, Frauds and Firearm Violations.
- In December of 2011, I requested a transfer to East Detectives Division (3901 Whitaker Ave.). I was granted this request. I spent a year on the "line", investigating numerous crimes. After a year, I was chosen by Captain Burgmann to join S.I.U. (Special Investigations Unit). I was assigned to investigate burglaries throughout the Kensington neighborhood and assisted on Shooting Investigations. Myself and my Partner, had the highest burglary clearance rate throughout the city.
- In March of 2017, I put a transfer request into the Philadelphia Homicide Unit (750 Race St.). I was accepted during a record high murder rate. During this assignment investigated murders, many of which were high profile cases.
- In January of 2021, I returned back to South Detectives until December of 2024. During my time as a detectives I conducted the following duties:
- Secured search warrants to investigate scenes of crimes and collect evidence.
- Interrogated suspects using appropriate interview techniques to obtain crucial information for case resolution.
- Assisted victims of crimes by providing resources for support services and ensuring their rights were protected throughout the investigation process.
- Participated in court hearings to provide written reports, evidence and verbal testimonies.
- Obtained and served search warrants related to ongoing cases.
- Trained junior officers on investigative techniques and best practices, contributing to a more skilled police force.
- Solved complex criminal cases by conducting thorough investigations and utilizing critical thinking skills.
- Collaborated with federal agencies on high-profile cases, resulting in successful arrests and convictions of dangerous criminals.
