As a once business owner I understand the value of execution for results. Working hard and being consistent are core-values of success and I incorporate those ideals on a daily basis. My vision for my career is opportunity, and I prioritize upward mobility and positional advancement in my work ethic. I aim to be exceptional, not just average. I believe my experience in management, self-learning motivation, and people skills makes me a top pick for investing in a competent and passionate employee.
At D.S. Burkholder I preform tasks as a general laborer and as a skilled electrician. I used what I learned through SOS Electrical to secure a position at D.S. Burkholder working in residential. I have worked on most residential operations an electrician would be able to expect on the job and I am proficient in completing those tasks.
I got a job at Texas Roadhouse after an extended job searching effort. I utilized similar skills here that I had at Johnnies Bar and Steakhouse.
After some particularly hard times in SOS Electrical, I ended up deciding to leave the company to try and make a more consistent income. During the time following that decision, I took up food delivery to make some money while I figured out what my next step was. As a delivery driver for apps such as DoorDash, and GrubHub, I learned how to be quick and efficient to maximize my time/cashflow. I worked with customers a lot and often made exceptional efforts to do what was best for the customer, even if it wasn't in the job description. I had high ratings across all the apps I worked for, and was rarely late on a delivery.
SOS Electrical was a business I co-owned with two other individuals and was the bulk of my experience in the working field. As a new business owner I learned many new skills and passions. These include: Website Creation and Management, SEO Optimization, Google My Business optimization, Digital Marketing, Google sheets, CRMs, Scheduling, Lead management, customer service (both on call and on site), and electrical work. I originally joined seeking the online, numbers, and optimization aspects of running a business but ultimately learned electrical work in an effort to make more money for myself and the company. My interests in online work with computers, software, and customer relations started when I began learning these fields in order to run a business.
As a line cook I learned how to deal with high stress situations, and found out I enjoy making meals. Ultimately, this job was supplemental income to support my efforts as a new business owner.
I started here part-time while I was still in school but moved to full-time once I graduated high school. While I was part-time I cleaned the production machines, but during my full-time work I worked the machines. I packaged eggs, worked hand-trucks, and helped with organization. I was promoted to lead for a time before I left to pursue a personal business venture.
Seasonal type job. Main duties included general maintenance of physical property and labor assistance on larger projects to improve park quality.
