Construct aerial and underground fiber optic cable

• Safely drive and operate cable placer bucket truck
• Use of tools i.e.(hammer, pliers, wrenches, grinders, chainsaw, sawzall, shovel, bell wrench, chain hoist, mule grip) to assist with completion of work
• Use of cable pulling and securing tools i.e.(cable reel trailer, cable puller, "slap" rollers, Sherman Reilly 100 blocks, and cable lasher)
• Climb wood poles and ladders using proper fall arrest equipment to safely complete work tasks
• Build strand using proper pole attachment hardware i.e.(straight clamps, curved clamps, preform dead ends, 5/8 square head bolts, standoff arms, washers, lags, strand vise, down guy anchors)
• Occasionally fill in as crew foreman performing tasks such as conducting JSA, assigning tasks to employees, record detailed productivity, and read blueprints

• Construct and maintain Verizon aerial and underground fiber optic/copper cable systems
• Drive and operate Digger Derrick truck to safely install new wood poles, replace old or broken poles, and install anchors
• Use pole handling equipment i.e. (chain/fabric slings, can hook, and pole tongs)
• Drive and operate cable placing bucket truck to transfer existing cable to new poles
• Assist in completing emergency callouts to achieve public safety
• Climb wood poles with proper fall arrest to complete work that is non accessible to any large equipment

• Managed daily operations of service department and ensured smooth workflow
• Schedule appointments and complete repairs in a smooth timely manner
• Maintain service department to keep a clean professional work environment
• Work with sales department to assist in outgoing motorcycle sales

• Assist with fiber optic cable placement and preparation
• Drive cable placer bucket safely to various jobsite locations
• Climb wood poles using proper equipment when constructing fiber optic in non equipment accessible locations i.e. (easement, backlots)

• Supervised daily tree service operations to ensure safety and efficiency
• Trained new crew members on equipment use and safety procedures
• Trimmed trees and brush in utility right of way using chainsaws, climbing saddles, tree gaffs, safety lanyards and ropes
• Accurately record daily production logs

• Perform pre-delivery inspections on new and used RVs and campers
• Repair camper appliances including refrigerators, air conditioners, water heaters, and furnaces
• Repair or replace damaged/rotted woodwork
• Assist customers with learning how to properly use their new camper

• Service and detail trade in units to prepare for resale
• Maintain shop and business property
• Perform pre-delivery inspections on new Honda power sports units including motorcycles, ATVs, scooters, and generators
