Delana M. Nalesnik

The professional experience and skill set I have gained throughout my employment experience have expanded my professional and independent judgment, which is why I believe to be a desirable candidate for the position. While working, I enjoy getting to know the customers and this is an experience I would like to continue at your establishment. Aside from customer service skills, I have also devoted much of my time to academic endeavors. I was accepted into the competitive FIRE Research Program at the University of Maryland during my first semester as a student. This experience imparted a strong sense of determination on behalf of my research team in order to see our hard work pay off as a success. Fortunately, we were able to see this happen by contributing toward a future journal publication in our field. Currently I seek an opportunity to advance myself in the area of public health at East Stroudsburg University, where I can be closer to home in Pennsylvania where my family resides. My academic endeavors combined with my customer service skills have strengthened my ability to translate complex realization into a contribution to the community. I could never take for granted the harmonious balance I have between service within the community and advancing myself professionally, both of which make me feel dimensional and capable of contributing to multiple disciplines.
