I retired from nursing in December 2023. I worked as a nurse for 47 years. I enjoy patient care and am applying for this position because I have always loved working in the CCU and would like to stay active in my retirement. I feel that I would be an asset to the unit with all of the experience I bring with me.
I worked at PUH from 2004-2023. From 2005-2023 I worked in the CCU as a Senior Professional Staff Nurse and I had my CCRN.
I cared for critically ill patients on CVVHD, ventilators, IABP and Impella. I started IVs, and drew blood work and assisted with bathing, ambulating patients and interacted with physicians and families.
My evaluations were always above average. I was a charge nurse, I served on the hospital PPC and unit PPC for 8 years. My attendance was excellent and I got along well with all of the staff.
