I am a natural caretaker for those around me, who has had an interest in healthcare since a very young age. I began my healthcare journey as a volunteer at my hometown hospital as candy-striper during my high school years. Upon completion of high school, I was enrolled in the RN program at Mount Aloysius College where I began my studies in August of 2009. After completion of my first semester, I obtained my CNA certificate. While in college studying for my RN, I worked as a CNA at a LTC facility on weekends/over holiday breaks. During the school week I was a paid peer tutor for fellow nursing students, and I was the president of the MAC Nursing Student Organization . I graduated from MAC as Magna Cum Laude in December of 2011. Upon graduation, I began working as Graduate Nurse at Malta Home. Upon passing the NCLEX, I began my RN journey as an RN supervisor of a roughly 60 bed facility.
Since obtaining my RN license within the state of PA, I have held numerous titles in a variety of healthcare settings. Every job change was made strategically, with the hope to obtain basic knowledge in a wide variety of settings with the hope to one day utilize that knowledge and those skills in a nursing leadership/management role. I have always placed a strong emphasis on respect for those within the IDT, solid communication skills, flexibility, prioritization/time management, and critical thinking skills. I place a very high priority on providing excellent patient care in every role I fall into. I enjoy mentoring/educating those around me, and work very hard to provide
both a positive and uplifting work environment for those around me.
