  • Responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of all marketing and sales strategies. Part of that role included acting as a liaison between the company and all government and public-leading figures in Panama, while complying with all fiscal and commercial regulations.

    Additionally, I had to provide financial support to new projects initiated by the corporation, including the opening and/or closing of any established company. I played a leading role in the negotiations between plant employees and the administration of Tanasec and Kraft Foods when they merged in April of 1998.
  • Comptroller: Coordinated, supervised, and directed the Accounting, Treasury, and Finance Departments, ensuring compliance with procedures and established policies. In order to accomplish these tasks, it was necessary to develop systems to assure the quality of the information required by Headquarters, as well as the revision along with the Commercial Director, of the financial results. A high level of efficiency in the accounts payable area, preparation of payroll and reports of bank statements and relationships was obtained.
