I am a High Value researcher and inspector in which I independently manage complex cases, verify the authenticity of items, and investigate discrepancies found in customers orders. As thee only team member qualified to handle high value jewelry/items, it is my job to maintain secure handling of these items in a restricted-access environment, requiring a high level of trust, confidentiality, and attention to detail. - Conduct detailed research on customers orders, purchase history and returned records to determine the authenticity and eligibility for their reimbursement in a timely manner
- Inspect high-value jewelry using specialized testing equipment to verify the authenticity of the diamonds and metals
- Conduct online research to find exact item brought back to us, whether it is our product or not.
- Work closely with management and asset protection to determine customers with complex cases.
- Complete all high value research and documentations within 2 days of customer returning there package.
- Create detailed files on customers that document fraud patterns and suspicious activity's
- Daily use of microsoft excel, microsoft teams, and outlook to organized information and documents and to communicate with other researchers and management.
- Analyze discrepancies in customers claims, order histories, and the returned jewelry to determined the best course of action
- Using multiple different POS systems
- Speaking and collaborating with other researcher to develop the best course of action with certain customers.
