A rising musician in the Austin and San Marcos area, Carlos Huezo constantly strives to be a better musician by the day. Having a big love for music, Carlos expands his musical pallet having had played in various different styles such as Orchestral, Jazz, Salsa , and Banda. Carlos began his musical studies at the age of 11 in in 6th grade and began taking private lessons at the age of 14 studying under Steven Vogel. Carlos would continue his Trombone studies to college and was accepted at Texas State University School of Music and was under the Dr. McCain studio at Texas State, following the departure of his teacher, Carlos now studies under Dr. Billy Gayman, Bass Trombonists of the Central Texas Philharmonic. Carlos has had the privilege to take lessons from Jim Nova, 2nd trombone of the Pittsburg Symphony, Peter Steiner, former trombonists at the Vienna Philharmonic, and Chris Bassett, the newly appointed Bass Trombonists of the St. Louis Symphony and Bass Trombonists of the Santa Fe Opera. Carlos is always continuously working on his craft during School and Summer.
