I have been a highly valued Patient Care Technician a local Emergency Department for 18+ years. I have been nominated and was honored to accept the Patient Care Technician of the Year Award for 2024. I also serve on the Triage Team Leader Meeting that meets once a month to discuss and gather data on how to optimize and provide a better flow to our ED for patient care. I also train and educate the new Patient Care Technician hires before they are set to be in the ED on their own.
