• I was hired at Liberty discount as a mechanic which quickly led to being a lead technician among many other roles throughout the company as I proved not only my strong work ethic, pride in my work, problem solving and leadership skills but also my skills to efficiently diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of equipment, including but not limited to Scag, Exmark, Toro, Cub Cadet, John Deere, Kubota, Stihl, Echo, Billy Goat, Beyers, western and meyers. The work I would perform would range anywhere from basic tune-ups, all the way to hydraulic pump and engine rebuilds. I also set up new equipment as needed along with installing any additional attachments the customer requested. During the fall and winter seasons I was the primary installer and repairman for all salt equipment which included tailgate and in-bed spreaders and the occasional snow plow on trucks of all sizes for various government/municipalities and commercial contractors. I would also handle any pickup and delivery services using the company’s isuzu npr 20’ flatbed truck, if the driver would be off or overscheduled. Over the years here I became the “go to guy” for most anyone and everything.

Performed diagnostic and repair procedures on various lawn and garden outdoor power equipment including chainsaws, weed eaters, blowers, riding mowers, walk behind mowers, zero turns, wide area mowers, compact tractors, small construction equipment. Also sharpened chains, blades and installed new tires on lawn and garden equipment. Created detailed repair estimates and contacted customers with them.

• Diagnosed and repaired various pieces of outdoor power equipment for a Cub cadet, Ariens, Ferris and Gravely dealer.

• I worked for a commercial landscaping company. Duties included mowing, trimming, mulching, installing a variety of plants, installing hardscapes, weeding and treating properties with pre-emergent.

• Performed various operations with heavy equipment including backhoes, trackhoes, articulating loaders, skidsteers, rollers and pavers to remove and install asphalt surfaces as well as stone walk ways.
