Jared Clemons

My strongest and most prominent feature is a willingness to learn and the ability to adapt. I am entirely committed to putting my best foot forward in all that I pursue. I've worked in team environments for the last 9 years and I love it. I stay personable and professional at all times because I enjoy the work I do. I have had 2 very different careers and they have both taught me about the value of working as a group, being flexible and learning something new everyday.

Skiing is a passion of mine so I took that with my in my instruction. I learned a lot about enhancing a guest's experience, while also assisting them in achieving their goals. My fifth and final year I became a trainer and began training our new hires, both how to ski, and teach effectively in a way that makes an enjoyable experience for the guest.

In July of 2022 I deployed with many members of my unit (130th Civil Engineer squadron) to the middle east as part of 1st ECEG. As Prime Beef and Red Horse engineers we worked together to provide expeditionary repairs and new construction all across the AOR. I was forward deployed to Kuwait for the entire 6 months and assisted my team in further enhancing the air base's drainage as well as updating/constructing new buildings.

I began excavating shortly after I returned, using the training I received from the Air Force as a starting point. I quickly learned enough to be shifted to an operator position in the summer of 2024. I operate a tractor pan combo in the summer months where there is a job that needs a lot of dirt moved fast. Throughout the remainder of the year and in between pan jobs I still do labor and have grown in my skills to be an effective hand at any jobsite no matter what the job entails.

• Served at Camp Sparta, Kuwait in support of the Joint Special Operations Forces Support Detachment providing much needed infrastructure repairs and improvements.
• Successfully provided maintenance for the 130 Airlift Wing as a Pavements and Construction Equipment Journeyman
• Airman of the Month – October 2022 – 577th Expeditionary Prime BEEF Squadron - 1st ECEG
• Trained new hires in Ski school to provide safe, quality and fun lessons
• Became an equipment operator in a little over one year in excavation.
