Primary responsibility is to set food buffets and maintain food buffets for Penn State University conferences and sports teams. Also responsible for communicating effectively with patrons, conference leaders and sports team coaches.
This was a part time, hybrid position involving travel to client homes and schools throughout the Centre county region. The primary responsibility was to complete functional behavior assessments with individuals affected by Autism and Mental Health diagnoses. In addition, behavior modifications were developed and the behavior management plans wer originated and updated based on tangible data collected on behaviors.
Spearheaded the Pennsylvania COVID-19 mental health first aid support line, while working directly under FEMA and the PA department of health. Served as a co responder with police to mental health crises and supervised all centre county crisis counselors. Oversaw 10 other county crisis hotlines in addition to Centre county. Provided feedback reports and training for new counselors, and taught classes for motivational interviewing and de escalation techniques with non verbal participants.
Served as the primary behavior specialist for all crisis de escalation situations in the school. Also served as the lead classroom teacher for a specialized intensive teaching classroom where applied behavior analysis was utilized as the method for teaching communication and modifying behaviors.
Responsible for supervising mobile crisis response in Centre, Mifflin, Juniata and Huntington counties. Issued mental health warrants in Centre county as a Mental Health Delegate and was Disaster Crisis Outreach and Referral Team certified for the state of Pennsylvania. Oversaw telephone crisis response for 12 counties in the central PA region and was responsible for training and supervising entry level crisis counselors.
