Ever since I joined the Columbian Volunteer Fire Department back in 1985, I have obtained multiple certifications and certificates for Fire and EMS.
I've obtained my certification of EMT and then Paramedic between 1988 to 1992 with certification in Basic / advanced first aid, CPR then EMT, onto Paramedic which included ACLS, PALS, CPR, with continuing education yearly for this title.
I've obtained my Fire Fighter Certification on my own back in the early years of 2000. Along with the Cert 1, I have multiple classes with certificates for different aspects of the fire service. These are available upon request if you would like to see them. I have also obtained my Basic Vehicle Rescue certification in the early 2000's.
I have assisted with maintenance on the fire apparatus, which included looking up prices for the parts, always looking for a quality part without spending a ton of money for it.
