  • As a financial management technician I preformed a wide range of transactions/duties following set guidelines, rules, and regulations under DOD FMR (Department of Defense Financial Management Regulation) without supervision.
  • All issues pertaining to pay would have a 'ticket', otherwise known as DA Form 2142, opened and would be worked on accordingly.
  • Worked through multiple systems and forms daily such as WebMDO, W4s, excel spreadsheet, Microsoft word, to name a few.
  • Calculated and approved an array of pay types, such as hazard pay, relocation pay, and flying pay, to name a few.
  • Calculated and set pay for over 300,000 Army personnel based on rank and under which umbrella the soldier fell under within the military. Soldiers who were enlisted, officers, or warrant officers all fall under different pay brackets, and each one qualifies for different pay amounts according to rank.
