  • Professional firefighter, currently the Lieutenant assigned to the rescue company (Rescue 1) in Scranton, Pa. Scranton is a city with approximately 85,000 residents in a 26 square mile area. I currently supervise personnel on my apparatus while responding to all structure fires, technical rescues, hazmat, water rescues, motor vehicle accidents and other incidents. During technical rescue operations, I serve as the operations command, responsible for task assignments, strategies and tactics. I previously served as lieutenant as well as firefighter with engine and ladder companies throughout my career.
