SFacilitated and supported a diverse team of volunteers responsible for the implementation of volunteer-led disaster cycle services programs such as Disaster Action Team, Preparedness, Recovery, and Home Fire Campaign in the Chestnut Ridge Disaster Response Area

• Ensured disaster cycle services were delivered in a rapid, accessible, and equitable manner, both culturally and linguistically, to meet the urgent, disaster-caused needs of clients
• Engaged disaster volunteers in disaster cycle services program activities and functions within the Chestnut Ridge Disaster Response Area.
• Supported and engaged VOAD partners in Westmoreland, Indiana, Armstrong, and Fayette Counties to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters and emergencies.
• Successfully developed and maintained over 10 Home Fire Campaign partners in Westmoreland, Indiana, Armstrong, and Fayette Counties.
• Coordinated and assisted with planning three Sound the Alarm smoke alarm install events.
• Served as Chestnut Ridge Operations Lead for DR 161-25 while Disaster Program Manager was away
• In addition to serving as Operations Lead for Chestnut Ridge, served Disaster Response role of DAT Liaison for DR 161-25: Tracked DRO-related calls from RC Respond and kept geographic DPMs informed of open calls in their response areas
• Successfully scheduled 3 days worth of available shelter volunteers to fill 8 hour shifts for DR 161-25
• Assisted in deployment of volunteers to several Disaster Response Operations

• Supported high school-aged students with disabilities and some at-risk youth in a 1:1 capacity with accessing their community resources, developing adult daily living skills, vocational skills, attaining educational goals, and obtaining meaningful employment.
• Took on responsibility of mentoring new Staff up to the SYSS III level through in-person and Zoom meetings. Offered regular feedback on mentees' documentation.
• As a Float Staff, performed administrative duties such as editing and approving documentation, intake forms, client activity schedules, Medicaid logs, etc.
• Communicated with companies to arrange employment and internship opportunities for clients across Youth Transitional Services including cold-calls and emails to potential employers.

• Performed first piece, in-process, and final inspections on metal and plastic bars according to customer specifications including: material type, length, diameter, surface finish, roundness, straightness, and hardness

• Counseled clients one-on-one regarding current situation, desires, aptitudes, education and employment history
• Assisted clients in building successful job search strategies
• Assisted with job applications
• Coached clients on interview skills
• Established working relationships with potential employers
• Coached adults with disabilities at their places of work to facilitate independence in their job duties
• Accurately documented each date of intervention to track the individual's progress
