As a binder, I was responsible for cutting the specified dimensions and measurements relevant to the customers' carpet &/or area rugs. Once cut, I would then bind the straight edges with the selected binding fabric and color using the shops' binding machine which had to be gauged depending on he density of carpet/area rug & the type of binding material being used. I had to operate forklifts when receiving or filling stock.

• At Ryder, my responsibilities as a Load Securement Specialist were to use my judgement, common sense & training to reensure the securement & public safety of the load being transported.
• This process would include the knowledge of load weight, position/placement of material/product & knowledge of tools & materials to secure the load.
• The loads were primarily loaded onto 48ft long & 8ft wide tarp enclosed wagons or same sized flatbeds.

• My responsibilities at Reading Truck Body was performing cosmetic & structural rework on damaged truck bodies.
• This special rework included fixing dents, punctures, corrosion, etc. with mig-welding (both aluminum & steel), bondo application + prep, graded oscillation/sanding, spray painting & installation of missing structural &/or mechanical parts.
• Waterproofing the interior & exterior was also apart of my duties.
• Preping the bodies that needed a considerable amount of spray paint in the proper environment by the in-house painter was also a prime duty.
• This meant tailored bagging & taping necessary for each body so that the spray paint would not get on the original powder coat of the utility truck body.
• Organization & clealiness was also a major role of my daily responsibilities.
• By doing so, this kept not only myself safe, but, also my peers.

• My responsibilities were to arrive & depart safely to the assigned work locations to perform the required skilled work performance for the customer.
• The majority of the time employed by AtWork Personnel I was assigned at Reading Truck Body until I was eventually hired as a full time employee by the company.

• At this point of my Life I decided to go into business with a High School friend & start our own Body Repair Shop in Miami.
• This is where I learned the majority of my Auto Body Repair Skills as he went to school for it, became certified & taught me the trade.
• The duties I performed were mostly steel mig-welding & bondo application/prep on relic vehicles that have endured corrosion & minor body damage via collision.

• My duties included safely rigging my descending & safety lines/ropes to the top of high rise building, some exceeding more than 60 stories high.
• This rigging included many types of safety knots & ties known as Life Points.
• I'm sure you can conclude why they have such a name as High Rise Window Cleaning is one the U.S.A's most dangerous jobs ranking at around # 6 in the top 10 most dangerous jobs.
• The work performed was done in a Bozeman's chair which descended through a rope rack that also allowed you to stop in mid air by looping the weight of the slacked rope on the top & bottom of rack.
• This rack was on your work line which was accompanied by your safety line that was connected to you via a safety lanyard & carabiner.
• The Bozeman's chair would have clamping hooks that allowed you to place your bucket of soapy water along with your mop & squeegee.
• Professional Grade Suction Cups were necessary on windy days as the wind could & would blow you around the corner of a building during a drop which will then place you in a bad predicament as it would then become difficult to descend as the ropes are not straightened.
• You would then have to wait for someone to finish a drop to then pull the slacked rope straight to it's original point.
• Speedy work performance was paramount as the sun & heat were so crucial that the application of the soapy water would dry up almost instantly when applied to glass/window no matter how soaked the mop.
• If not done correctly, the windows you've attempted to clean would be full of streaks which is not acceptable in the profession of High Rise Window Cleaning.
• Meaning, you would have to do the drop again to mere perfection.
• The assembly & rigging of motorized scaffolding was also a part of our work performance.
