  • I am an avid Scouter and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Scouts have taught me responsibility for my actions, creative and spontaneous problem-solving, persistence, and large-scale group management of peers and younger scouts
  • I love to run and have successfully run many 5k's and one-half marathon. I use running as a meditation tool. While running, I can block out the noise of everyday life, focus on a tangible goal, and recenter my perspective.
  • I am very passionate about backpacking and camping. I have been a camper since I could walk and took my very first backpacking trip in 6th grade. I have always found peace and power in the resilience and solus of natural world.
