Joseph Ucman

I am self employed with my tree business. I do tree removal, tree trimming, and stump grinding. I have a lot of years of experience in tree removal. I also manage all of the finances that goes along with the business. I am able to build personal relationships with my customers and suppliers.

I started with TMS International in 2014 as a greaser. I then moved out of maintenance and went into operations. I operated the pot carrier which hauled hot slag from the mill to our site and dumped it into our pits. I also ran the blast furnace which consisted of digging the pits once they were cooled off and loading tri-axle to ship material out of the mill. I traveled to Wisconsin to train new pot carrier operators. I went from operations to management as a foreman in 2022 which made me supervise a crew and make sure everything was done correctly. I was then promoted to the Assistant Superintendent in 2024 which is still my current position. I over see the entire site and its operations. I developed professional relationships with our vendors, subcontractors and employees within the steel mill.

I was a laborer , I operated equipment such as a skid steer, excavator, tri-axle, pumper truck, and a jetter. I installed septic tanks, pumped septic tanks put, installed leach beds, repaired broken sewer or water lines, unclogged lines with an eel or jetter.
