Accomplishments

    I have been nominated 3 times for awards while employed with UPMC. 2x above and beyond award and x1 ACE award

    I was credited with being instrumental in saving a patient that had come into out ER. When this patient collapsed onto the ground behind me i was able to recognize that he was having a cardiac event and began chest compressions to get the patient breathing and in a better position for staff to continue care.

    Another situation where my shift was recognized in our part of helping a very trouble young woman during a crisis that she was having a high level of observation and seeing that she dropped a wrapper of letter opener.
