José M. Lugo

639 South Broad St

Summary

For over 17 years, I trained as a political and legal theorist with an emphasis on research and writing. I have a PhD in Political Science (Dec. 2022), and a Juris Doctorate (May, 2013). I'm currently an attorney at law and a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (2024), with a practice in immigration and criminal law. I am a dedicated individual who is eager to put my research, writing, analytical and teaching skills to practice in a challenging academic setting. Additionally, my bi-cultural/bilingual (English/Spanish) background makes me attune to the diversity of thoughts, norms, and morals of students in our multi-cultural American society.
