Provides excellent cardiology care to patients with varied cardiac diagnoses including but not limited to coronary artery disease, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmias, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. Performs cardiac physical assessments, orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, and collaborates with physicians to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Offers exceptional care, support, and education to patients and their families dealing with acute and chronic conditions.

Proficient in cardiovascular stress testing including routine exercise, nuclear, and stress echocardiograms. Developed workflows and manages schedules of 14 advanced practice providers and nurses ensuring to provide excellent outpatient and inpatient care for our cardiology practice. Provides education and mentorship for new nurse practitioners, and nurses.

Developed and works within a Nurse Practitioner led Coumadin Clinic.

Performed triage with patient phone calls and determined needs and streamlined care based on those needs. Collaborated closely with physicians on decisions and delivering excellent and comprehensive cardiology care. Managed 5 nurses within our group to ensure proper education and training. Developed workflows for triage, medication management, anticoagulation management as well as patient education.

Provided exceptional immediate post-operative care to patients undergoing open heart surgery as well angioplasties. Exhibited strong critical thinking skills when assessing complex cardiac situations and determining appropriate interventions.
