Dedicated aircraft specialist with +4 years of experience working on and amongst the production and assembly of aircraft components and systems while meeting the safety standards, quality standards, and time driven goals for the United States Air Force.
Responsibilities:
Daily use of blueprints, change memos, wiring diagrams, schematics and computer files.
Maintain and utilize multimeters, micrometers, crimpers, strippers, wire routing tools, tension tools, and calibrators.
Manually disassemble, repair, assemble, and perform functional testing of components for compliance with standards.
Maintain shop compliance processes and standards including FOD prevention, ESD safety, and material handling safety.
Implement and enforce safety procedures to protect personnel, components, and aircraft.
Complete preventative and reparative maintenance on aircraft electronics and computer systems.
Train and manage new technician activities for proper repair and maintenance of avionics systems from start to finish.
Assess and diagnose avionics system faults in order to identify and recommend corrective actions and resolution plans.
Scheduled and unscheduled inspections of aircraft and components.
