Work History

Waitress

Spring-Ford Country Club
05.2025 - Current

I started working here last summer while I was home from college. My job was to learn costumer service and treat the members with the highest respect. Not only did I learn how to serve members but also how to bartend when necessary. The hardest part of the job was not the waitressing but the costumer service. It was part of my job that we learn the members names, orders, jobs and anything else to show are respect.

Tennis Coach

Penn State Tennis Center
02.2025 - Current

As a tennis coach I am responsible for teaching beginners the fundamentals of tennis. I often teach little kids, where my goal is to make sure they are having fun and staying safe. I will run a court while teaching and often have five to ten people under my supervision. Other days I coach other college students the basics. My goal with this group is to help them become familiar with the basics then I would with the youth groups. Ultimately my goal is to teach and keep a safe environment.

Soccer Referee

US Soccer Association
03.2022 - 04.2025

On the surface level my job was to call games for age groups five to nineteen. However my job was also to keep a safe and positive environment for the players. Often times I had to assess a situation and figure out the best way to deescalate that situation. I had to learn to talk to people older than me in a respectful way while still getting my point across. If a situation became dangerous for myself or the players, which does happen, I was the one who had to request people to leave the area or I had to make the call to call the police. Yes, my job required me to pay close attention to the game but I was always responsible of up to one-hundred people at a time and making sure everyone stays under control. Payment was all in cash which helped me learn money handling so I always got the amount I was owed and never lost any along the way.
