Emergency room- I helped patients to feel safe and secure in a stressful environment. I did tests such as lab work and EKGs. I also did blood cultures. Helped to make me work fast in a stressful environment. Assisted RNs with any task they might need help with. Transported patients around the hospital to diffferent testing areas and rooms.

Short stay unit- helping to prep patients for surgery. Greeting them from waiting room and taking them back to rooms and getting vital signs. Then assisting nurses with prepping them for surgery.

Taking care of patients and assisting with their day to day activities and daily living tasks. Those include eating, bathing, toileting and helping to dress. I also would take vitals. I trained staff on second shift that were new to the workplace.

Worked with many customers a day in helping to provide returns, answering phone calls and transferring to appropriate departments, paying bills, getting lottery also helping to resolve any issue with for store and its service.
