  • As the manager of provider data, I lead a team of 14 individuals. My team is responsible for managing all provider data demographics that feeds directly into the UnitedHealth Care provider directory. I ensure I provide support, guidance, encouragement, and push initiatives and goals. We work with internal and external business partners and maintaining and nurturing those relationships is vital to the success of our team but also to our members.
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONTRIBUTIONS
  • Work with large incoming new data and step through the ETL process with internal team, each step in the ETL process undergoes quality analysis and testing
  • Extract the data, it can be in many different formats or files
  • Transform the data so it is usable and understandable
  • The data is then loaded into the data warehouse, this allows users to utilize snowflake or other tools business partners may use
  • The data is then validated for quality assurance once again then data analysis
  • Assist the UAT process in queries and any data issues and providing resolution
  • Continuous monitoring of data ingestion from data source to completion
  • Using snowflake I insert, manipulate, analyze, and test data to ensure data integrity and quality data
  • After data is loaded through the data warehouse, I assist in creating useable data. I utilize Snowflake primarily and other tools to create reports and usable data for internal and external business partners
